FARROW & THE PEACH LEAVES

Based out of Nevada City, California, Farrow and the Peach Leaves has cultivated a satisfying sound rooted in Americana, Blues, Rock and Country that has been packaged in a versatile getup composed of thick blues guitars, locomotive rhythm, and seventies country rock overtones.

Fronted by singer-songwriter Graham Farrow Knibb, Farrow and the Peach Leaves pushes buttons that bring audiences as much to tears as to dancing. Their songs orbit themes of loneliness and love, betrayal and joy with deft earnestness and authenticity. Knibb is an expert songwriter and his skills are equalled by the band’s orchestration. Knibb is as much interested in love as he is in the mistakes we make again and again in the pursuit of it. Likewise, he channels the gestalt of the Sierra Foothills of Northern California - a mishmash of weed growers, coal rollers, demi-cults and strung out down-and-outs. His songs evoke the beauty in difficulty and the difficulties of living in a beautiful place.

Founded in 2016 by long-time friends Graham Farrow Knibb, Zach Peach (Drums), and Leif Bonfils (Bass), the band has expanded to include Keith Knibb and Justin Peach on guitars and Hunter Jones on Pedal Steel and Keys. Honeyslides (2019), Farrow and the Peach Leaves’s first studio album, solidified their purchase on the western Americana market, while significant touring has garnered them a robust following up and down the west coast.

The band took a detour in their trajectory during the pandemic to support legendary singer-songwriter Aaron Ross for the album Swan Songs, Volume 1, a countrified reimagining of selected songs the beloved artist’s enormous catalogue. Now, Farrow and the Peach Leaves gearing up to release a third album: Buttermilk Brine. This album will be a must-have for current Farrow and the Peach Leaves fans, as well as followers of the west-coast country rock scene. Produced by Evan Bailey (Oh Lonesome Ana and Sun Valley Gun Club) and Engineered, Mixed, Mastered and Recorded live-to-tape by Grammy Nominated Jack Shirley at Atomic Garden East in Oakland, CA. It will be released on December 9th, 2022.
